Choosing by Advantages Application Areas in Facilities Management: A Literature Review

Abstract Choosing by Advantages (CBA) is a new generation decision-making method utilized mainly in lean construction, sustainable design, methods and materials selections for the last two decades. The value-based approach of CBA considers cost as constraint uses advantages decision alternatives preference, choice, ranking. This can benefit facilities management (FM) processes that are challenged with budget dominance decision-making. study conducted comprehensive literature review about revealing benefits areas improvement while also investigating possible application FM practices. covered 67 relevant studies topic area over decades identified research clusters these articles, focusing on beyond scope Lean Construction.
